Full Description
19th century cast iron sewer vent at the end of Talbot Street. It is similar to one at Filkins Lane, Boughton which is grade II listed.(1) Sewer vents are tall, hollow pipes, usually cast-iron, resembling lamp-posts. They are used to ventilate sewer systems.(2)
