Mossley Hall is a substantial Victorian house constructed largely from Cheshire brick with black and white timbering at high level. Interesting features include tall triple/five clustered elaborate diagonal arrangement chimney stacks and spire to the imposing entrance.The local list entry includes the Coach House.

Mossly Hall is first depicted on this map, placing its construction at sometime after 1877 (see 3). The map depicts the house, the coach house and another outbuilding to the immediate north-east. To the south, adjacent to the road, is a lodge building, from which the drive curves towards the house. The gardens contained a fountain. It is named as The Terrace.
