A large house looking over the public Milton Park, the red brick, Flemish bond walls are dominated by symmetrical two-storey stone bays and a flat roofed porch supported by four Tuscan columns. The slate roof features an unusual gabled canopy with a concave hipped roof over the central first floor window. The house has a carved stone cornice at eaves level.
