Mickwell Brow – House and Botanic Gardens

Date: 1898
Description
House originally called “Mickwell Brow”.
A substantial red brick (“Ruabon” Red) villa beneath a pitched red clay tile roof with decorated crenolated ridge tiles.
Dutch style parapeted bay to rear with shaped terracotta tiles to parapet and decorative diamond device to brickwork.
Conventional pitched gables elsewhere. Windows white painted hinged casements with moulded string course acting as sill to first floor.
Flat arch brick lintels to window heads.

In use as Ness Botanic Gardens.
