Description
Hipped slated pitch roof. Dutch style gable to centre of front elevation with decorative brick crockets to stepped gable parapet.
Sandstone moulded string courses with central shield with cartouche surround, bearing 3 cornsheafs of Cheshire.
Connect string course inscription “TOWN AD 1888 HALL”.
4 pane windows, top pair hung opening out.
2 symmetrical entrance porches with corniced sandstone flat parapeted roofs. Left hand (north) door to Town Hall, right hand (south) door to Post Office. Elevations, smooth (Ruabon?) red brick with moulded string course to first floor and sandstone plinth.
Condition
Good.
Current use
In use as Local Authority Office and Post Office.
