Summary

Ellesmere Port Civic Hall Designed by Richard H Kelly (Gornall Kelly & Partners) in 1954, this building boasts an imposing symetrical façade in brown brick. It is 3 bays wide and the central projecting bay has three pseudo-Georgian windows decorated with plaster surrounds incorporating key stone detailon the first floor. The parapet is also decorated. On the ground floor, the town crest is placed over the main entrance and square plaster friezes over the windows either side. There are many interior period details still in existance. An extension c built in 2000 is in keeping with the original building.

Description
Imposing symetrical façade in brown brick. 3 bays wide. Central projecting bay with three pseudo-Georgian windows. Decorated with plaster surrounds incorporating key stone detail. Town crest, square plaster friezes and parapet also decorated. Many interior period details still in existance.
Extension from c.2000 in keeping.
