Summary

Cottage 4 Rear of The Green Willaston This was originally a simple farm workers cottage, under a pitched slate roof with a semi dormer window. The first floor is built in common Cheshire red brick with a decorative brick dentil string course forming the boundary to the rendered ground floor. The original sash windows with black painted sandstone sills survive but there is a replacement door, the original doorway on the side of the house has been converted to a window. Now combined up cottages 5 and 6

Description

Common Cheshire red brick to first floor, decorative brick dentil string course above render to ground floor.

Original sash windows with black painted sandstone sills.

Replacement modern door. Doorway on side of house has been converted into a window.

Condition

Good.

Current use

In use as a dwelling.
