Description
A simple pitched roof structure with sandstone walls and white rendered gabled end. On the outside wall facing Neston Road can be seen the typical ¼ moon shaped cusps in the stonework formed by the blacksmith striking the shoe against the sandstone to smooth the edge. (These can also be seen on stones outside Smith’s Cottage, Willaston).
Original roof possibly thatch, now corrugated iron.
Believed to have been the workplace of Henry Lyon, father of Emma Lyon, later Lady Hamilton.

In use as a lawnmower repair shop.
