Former Plough Inn and Plough Cottage

Description
Two cottages with date plaque inscribed “ITL” and dated 1724, probably originally farm labourers cottages. Pitched slated roofs at different pitches, flat topped attic dormers with small pane hinged casements.
Plough Cottage (12 Park Street) has 4 no12 pane sashes, window to left of door has additional 4 pane narrow sashes to each side of main frame.
Solid door with 6 raised and fielded panels. Grey pebbledash to walls with sandstone window sills and exposed sandstone plinth.
Former Plough Inn (10 Park Street) has 1 no 12 pane sash with 4 pane sidelights to first floor and 2 no 12 pane sashes to ground floor.
Spoked half round fanlight above panelled doors. Cellar runs beneath both properties.
Condition
Good.
Current use
In use as domestic dwellings.
