Description
Former estate workers cottage probably associated with (demolished) Hooton Hall.
Simple two window cottage with central door. Yellow engineering brick chimneys to each gable, slate pitched roof with remnants of “Sawtooth” decorative ridge tiles. Distinctive Victorian Gothic pitched panes to small pane sash windows.
Mono pitch slate canopy to four pane front door. Raised panel of brick above canopy, possibly former site of sundial or date plaque.
Modern extension to right hand (North East) side of common brick.
Similar to listed properties in Hooton Green.
