Description
Three storey premises, brick upper storeys with coursed Ashlar stone to the ground floor gables to Cook Street and Station Road with shaped stone parapets, distinctive large chimney with stone banding above roof level.
Front (Station Road) elevation has stone clad bay windows at first and ground floor level, other front windows including fan light above door canopy are round headed.
Side (Cook Street) elevation has 12 pane sliding sash windows with stone lintels and sills.
Adjoining premises in Cook Street are more domestic in character, with distinctive shell (conch) canopy above door, smaller 12 pane hinged casement windows with brick lintels and stone sills. Matching brick to all 3 storeys (i.e. no stone).
Condition
Good.
Current Use
In use as offices (clinical testing centre).
