Summary

A school built as part of the Hooton Estate in around 1859. It consists of rough coursed sandstone walls with dressed stone parapets to eaves and end gables. Now two storey, and converted to a house, it was originally probably a single storey "single space" school room. There are long window openings to north and west elevations now with modern timber casements aand a date plaque to the pitch of the east gable.

Description
