Summary
Bronze upper portion of scabbard slide or mount. The remains of the rivet are still in situ but the upper part of the ring is lost. An almost exact parallel was found in Chester at the Deanery field excavations in 1928.

Bronze upper portion of scabbard slide or mount. Upper part of ring lost, remains of rivet still in situ. Present length 5.14cm max. width 1.27 cm. Almost exact parallel from the Deanery field, 1928 (2). Reported 2/3/88 (1).
