Full Description
A grade II listed canal bridge: built in 1830 by William Crosley for the Macclesfield Canal Company of hammer-dressed buff sandstone. It has a horseshoe elliptical arch, chamfered coping at road level and a plain parapet with rounded coping ends in square pilasters. This is the standard bridge on this canal and there are 7 other complete examples in Adlington.
