Summary

The filled in site of the lock at that was positioned at the eastern end of Woolston New Cut (CHER 4674/2), completed 1821. The lock keeper's cottage is on the southern side and the lock originally incorporated a swing bridge.

Martinscroft lock, partially filled in, though the line of the cut and the side walls are clearly visible. Lock keeper's cottage is occupied.
