Summary

Mesolithic material picked up from surface of field alongside river. Single platform core of banded chert, two flakes of banded chert, and a flake of speckled chert. Found in field immediately south of a previously reported Mesolithic site, so should probably be regarded as an extension of that rather than a separate site.

Mesolithic material picked up from surface of field alongside river. Single platform core of banded chert, two flakes of banded chert, and a flake of speckled chert. Found in field immediately south of a previously reported Mesolithic site (CSMR 2299/0/1), so should probably be regarded as an extension of that rather than a separate site (1).
