Full Description
Two jettons and a coin found on the 1st June 2009 by metal detector:
1) An illegible cast copper alloy jetton dating from the thirteenth to seventeenth centuries (1).
2) Cast copper alloy jetton dating to the sixteenth or seventeenth centuries. Obv: Unclear. Rev: Imperial orb surmounted by a cross patty within a tressure with three main arches. The legend illegible (1).
3) Silver Post-Medieval sixpence of Elizabeth I, (1558-1603). Obv: Crowned bust left. ELIZ[ABETH] D G ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA Rev: Square garnished shield over long cross fourchée dividing the legend. POSVI DEV ADIVTOREM. MEVM (1).
