Full Description
Presumably built by 1869 to serve the Cheshire Lines Committee's Northwich - Chester Railway, and the Mouldsworth Junction - Helsby Railway, (1) it is present on the 1872 Ordnance Survey map. (2) The building is no longer present on the 1972 Ordnance Survey map, (3) and it is reasonable to assume that as the two lines were still in use by 1972 (the Mouldsworth Junction - Helsby albeit as a mineral railway) it has been replaced by an automated signaling installation.
