Full Description
<1> Portable Antiquities Scheme, Various, Portable Antiquities Data Import, DEV-1A8980 (Digital Archive). SCH5212.
Lead alloy cast object with a standing figure on one surface for decoration. The other side is plain. At the bottom is a small terminal knop. The item may have been a weight,or possbily some kind of gaming piece. It has also been suggested that the item may be one half of a buckle, which would have linked with an identical item. There is a rivet hole with rivet intact to the left of the figure's shoulder. There are two cub-circular holes to the right of the figure. The item is probably of a post medieval date.
