Full Description
Fragment of a Late Medieval/Post Medieval rowel spur which has broken off. It is only the spur neck and part of the spur box which remains. It is a slightly uneven Y-shape, the arms of the Y being the remains of the spur box. The spur box arms have a rectangular section, the spur neck as a circular section. Found in a field opposite Bluecap Pub Sandiway (1).
Grid reference recorded by PAS is incorrect. Moved to central point of field to the immediate south of the Bluecap Pub (3).
