Full Description
Cast copper alloy Dolphin bow brooch dating to the 1st century AD. The brooch is mainly complete but the pin and most of the catch-plate are missing. The bow tapers to a point. At the head of the brooch the bow has 2 vertical incised lines as decoration. The axis bar is hollow and semi-circular. Recorded at a rally. Found right at the bottom of Field 3 (1).
