Full Description

<1> Portable Antiquities Scheme, Various, Portable Antiquities Data Import, Murphy-4F1132 (Digital Archive). SCH5212.

Cast copper alloy mount in the form of a fleur-de-lis, Post-Medieval in date. The two arms of the edge, curve around and start to come back on their selves. Underneath the central piece there is a semi-circular hole with the arms on either side appearing to be broken. It is possible this was a circular hole which has broken. There are no remains of rivets on the mount, it is possible they fitted through this hole.
