Full Description
Site of mill at Huxley temp Henry IV. Mentioned in inquisition post mortem of Thomas de Huxley, who died seized of 3 messuages and a water mill in Huxley (1). Mill is now a residence, but the leat survives (2). Mill named Lower Huxley Mill (Flour) on 1 inch first edition OS map, 1882 (3).
