Full Description
Silver denarius of Septimius Severus. Possibly plated. Obv: (L SEPT SEV PERT AUG IMP VIII), laureate head. Rev: FORTUNAE) RED (UCI, Fortune seated on low chair with a globe. AD 196-197. Diameter: 1.67-1.76cm. Weight 3.43gm. See RIC IV no.78 p.100. Reported to the Grosvenor Museum on 14/9/1987 (1).
