<1> Grosvenor Museum, Grosvenor Museum Accessions (Index). SCH407.
Bronze bell. Found just south of Stamford Bridge over the River Gowy on the right bank, c.1957. Diameter 12.2cm x 8cm high. Turned centre point for lathe on upper strap-shaped loop. Linear decoration around the body of the bell, 2 lines near the mouth of the bell, 1 just below and another just above the angle. The mouth of the bell is bevelled on the inside. Clapper and suspensor lost. See (2). Reported to the Grosvenor Museum 14/08/1987.
