Bronze nail cleaner. Length 4.15 cm. Tip lost with mouldings between loop and lower section. Compare N. Crummy 'Roman small finds from Colchester 1971-9' (Colchester 1983) p.58, where a date of c.late 1st-2nd C AD is suggested. Found in fields near footpath and reported to the Grosvenor Museum in 1987 (1).
