Full Description
Upton Mill, Old Mill Court. Formerly windmill, now house. Probably c.1775. Major late 20th century restoration to house. Circular raking tower of red brick in Flemish garden wall bond. 5-storeys high with a flat roof. Windows mostly have weak segmental brick heads and small-pane, iron casements with intersecting tracery and a central hinged panel of 4 panes. Some 20th C sympathetic examples. 2 doors at ground level and 1 loading bay part way up. Interior: very heavy softwood beams remain but remainder altered (1).
