Summary

A derelict brick tower of an early eighteenth century windmill. Ordnance Survey maps suggest the mill was still in operation in the 1890s, but was disused by 1911.

Derelict Windmill. Early eighteenth century. Brick. Bottle shaped, tapering tower. Superstructure and roof missing. three storeys. Arched window and door openings. Part of sail platform and wheel mechanism in situ. Upper part fallen in and timbers and mechanism lying within tower.
