Full Description
Pulford Church. The advowson of the rectory of Pulford descended with the manor. The first rector was installed temp Richard I. 'The church was a handsome and antient building of red stone, consisting of a tower, nave without side aisles and chancel' (1). It was rebuilt in 1881-4 by John Douglas, partly at the expense of the 1st Duke of Westminster (2).
