Summary

Church of St Mary, Aldersey Green Lane. Founded between Domesday and 1093. Granted to Chester Abbey on the latter's foundation in 1093 by Hugh Fitz Norman (Hugh de Mara in Domesday), who was the immediate manorial lord. The whole fabric of the church was taken down and rebuilt in 1833.

Church of St Mary, Aldersey Green Lane. Founded between Domesday and 1093.
