Full Description
Wervin Old Hall, Wervin Road. Farmhouse. Late C17-C18, altered and added to. Pebbledashed, slate roof, rendered plinth. Two storeys, with 2.5 storey cross wing. Lobby entrance. Main wing has three windows, cross wing has one. Main wing ground floor has two timber casements and one canted bay. Projecting pebbledashed porch has tile roof. Stud door has arched head. Cross wing has canted bay. Stacks at angle between cross wing and main wing and projecting at right gable. Interior: Beams have stop chamfers and bead mouldings. Inglenook bressumer has multiple mouldings and continuous band of pierced circles. Full architectural description (1).
