Summary

Grade II listed farmbuildings at Chorlton Lodge Farm, Rake Lane. There are a range of stables, barns and farmbuildings dating to the 17th century. Built in red sandstone with slate roofs in an L-shaped block. The stable range has seven stable doors and six windows. Eight upper floor openings alternate with seven pairs of vertical ventilation slits. The cart house has an arched opening. The loft is accessed by external stone steps at the lefthand end. The barn range has tall double doors, two ground floor doorways and three upper openings.

Farmbuildings at Chorlton Lodge Farm, Rake Lane. Range of stables, barns and farmbuildings. C17. Red sandstone, slate roofs. L-shaped block. Stable range has seven stable doors and six windows. Eight upper floor openings alternate with seven pairs of vertical ventilation slits. Cart house has arched opening. Loft has external stone steps at lefthand end. Barn range has tall double doors, two ground floor doorways and three upper openings. Gables have stone coping (1).
