Full Description
Stoak Farmhouse, Little Stanney Lane. C17, altered. Rendered brick, slate roofs, steeply pitched on lefthand wing, righthand wing has corrugated sheeting and catslide roof. Lefthand wing is two storeys with attics; righthand wing, formerly cheese loft, is two storyes. Lefthand wing has ground floor small paned iron casements, first floor metal casements. Door into left wing is replaced. Interior: Stop chamfered beams, ledge and batten doors of three boards. Parlour inglenook. Doorway between parlours of lefthand wing has panelled oak jambs and good classical architrave with horns. Full architectural description (1).
