Boundary stone of probable late 18th century date set into the roadside boundary wall that retains agricultural land. The rectangular red sandstone block measures 0.86m long by 0.37m deep. A vertical scour divides the stone into two section and an incised 'B' records Broxton parish to the north and 'T' for Tattenhall parish to the south. The roadside wall stands 1m high and is located 0.6m from the roadside. The boundary wall is in good state of repair and the stone would be only vulnerable during any future repairs to the wall, particularly if its whereabouts are unknown to the contractor.
