Stone House Farmhouse, Tilston Lane. Late C17, altered and extended C18, altered C19 and extended C20. Red squared snecked rubble sandstone, gray slate roofs. Two storeys. L-shaped with rear wing of two storeys, probably C18. Mid C20 flat-roofed single-storey extension behind house. Front has Roman Doric doorcase with attached columns and pediment. Stone flush-mullioned windows to basement, wood and iron Gothic windows to lower and upper storeys. Interior: largely reworked. A stopped ovolo beam in right room. Full architectural description (1).
