Full Description
A boundary stone dating from the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century. Rectangular sandstone block now at base of rubble garden wall. Has a well carved seriffed B (for Bollington) on its face (1). Boundary stone measuring 0.46m high by 0.18m wide reset in boundary wall to Marksend House (formerly Ivy House) at 0.5m above the ground. Inscribed 'B' for Bollington (2 & 3).
