Full Description
Well head. Dated 1862. Coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings. The wellhead is set into a retaining wall at side of the road and has a raised lip and a pointed arched top formed of two slabs of stone which are inscribed at left. "The Squire's" and at right "Well 1862" and above this is a further stone set into the walling which reads "To do Good Forget Not" (1).
