An embankment shown on the Modern Ordnance Survey Maps 1:10,000 maps. Aligns with the known remains of the Whitchurch - Nantwich - Middlewich Roman Road (Margary route 700) to the NE. (1) However, this feature is not shown on any of the Ordnance Survey maps from the nineteenth century.

A linear embankment shown on the Modern (2005) Os 1:10,000 maps. Aligns with known remains of the Whitchurch - Nantwich - Middlewich Roman Road (Margary route 700) to the NE. (1) However, this feature is not shown on any of the OS historic maps for the area.
