'Burial Ground' marked on the Ordnance Survey third edition 25inch to 1mile maps at the Congregational Chapel, Swanlow Lane.

Providence Chapel is depicted on the Tithe Map for Over Township (c.1846); it lies within a small rectangular plot, in the north-east extent of Plot 330 which is described as Croft and Chapel, Acres 0, Roods 2, Perches 5, owned by John Heath and occupied by Martha Hodgkinson. The Chapel is also depicted on the later OS First Edition map, within its rectangular plot, which seems to be slightly enlarged and is labelled 'Grave Yard'. By the time of the Second edition OS map (source 3), at the end of the nineteenth century, the old chapel has disappeared, though the boundaries of the 'Burial Ground' are still evident, as they are on the Third Edition map (source 1). The western boundary of the old grave yard still appears in situ on most recent mapping.
