Full Description
Congregational Chapel, now United Reformed Church, that originated in 1844. The chapel was erected in 1846-8 on land given by John Jenkins of Fulshaw Hall [CSMR 1475/1]. The chapel, of stone with lancet windows, was designed by John Rogers; it was much enlarged in 1868 by the addition of a polygonal organ apse and galleried transepts, and in recent times by a large vestibule in front (1).
