Full Description
Court Farmhouse, the Village. Late C17 and early C18 with mid C19 alterations. Flemish and English bond red brick (one range on stone plinth). Graduated Welsh slate roof with two brick chimneys. L-shaped plan. Two storey and attic, two-bay east front. Brick band at first and second floor. Inserted sash windows. Wooden casements and sliding sashes in attic. Interior: Main room has inglenook fireplace with heavy chamfered cambered bressumer and chimney-breast contains cupboard with board door. Domed brick oven survives to rear. Heavily chamfered ceiling beams in most rooms. Full architectural description (1).
