<1> Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England (RCHME), 1994, An Inventory of Non-Conformist Chapels and Meeting Houses in the North of England, Cheshire Number 136 (Book). SCH4548.
Graveyard at the Baptist Chapel, Brassey Green. Monuments include:
[1] Stephen Cawley, 1773, and Ann his Widow, 1774, flat slab;
[2] John Walley, 1796, Ann his Widow 1809, and Ann their Daughter, 1773, table-tomb;
[3] Headstone West of chapel with enigmatic inscription 'Ah! M.S. In 77 & 77./Of what could dy./Death the Bereav'd/Yet, on other terms/more vivid Lives than/Mortals ever Breathd'.
