Full Description
A chapel opened in 1809 was superseded by the present building in 1843. About 1863 this was sold to a Presbyterian church, some of the proceeds being used to build a new chapel in Lymm. The chapel is now used by the Church of England as 'St Thomas's Church'. Sandstone walls and slate roof. Gabled North East front with low battlemented porch and lancet above flanked by plain shields. Side walls of five bays with lancet windows, blind in the end bays. Window frames of cast-iron with floral tracery (1). Full architectural description in (2).
