Summary

Sunday school, Roe Street. A Large building of brick in ten bays of four storeys was erected for interdenominational use in 1813. Sectarian rivalry led to independent services being held here until 1823, when they were transferred to St George's Chapel.

Sunday school, Roe Street. A Large building of brick in ten bays of four storeys was erected for interdenominational use in 1813. Sectarian rivalry led to independent services being held here until 1823, when they were transferred to St George's Chapel [CSMR 1563/15/0] (1).
Former Sunday School, now heritage center. Moulded stone cornice with raised part to center inscribed "Sunday School. Erected by Volountary Contributions AD 1813". Full architectural description in (2).
