Full Description
Built in 1788 and enlarged in 1789 and possibly rebuilt or enlarged in 1810. It was superseded in 1876-7 by Park Green Chapel [CSMR 1563/13/2]. "Ebenezer" chapel standing behind it's successor is plain brick with a gabled front and central entrance. The interior (57.5 foot by 36 foot) has a gallery around three sides with a late 19th Century cast-iron front. A large Sunday school building stands adjacent. It seceded from the King Edward Street Chapel [CSMR 1563/8] (1).
