Full Description
Baptist Chapel built in 1850 with walls of sandstone and a decorative slate roof. The side walls of four bays divided by stepped buttresses have two-light traceried windows. The interior has an open timber roof; a stone pulpit in the South East corner and two ranks of box-pews with doors removed are contemporary with the building. The baptistery is in a room at the E end separated from the chapel by a segmental arch closed with shutters (1).
The Ordnance Survey third edition 25inch to 1mile maps shows an attached Sunday School (2).
