Full Description
<1> Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England (RCHME), 1994, An Inventory of Non-Conformist Chapels and Meeting Houses in the North of England, Cheshire Number 53 (Book). SCH4548.
A Primative Methodist chapel built in 1873 and with an attached Sunday school built in 1909. The chapel replaced an earlier building dating from 1834.

The Primative Methodist chapel is recorded in the award. The rest of the plot the 1873 chapel occupies is recorded as a cottage and garden.
