Full Description

Methodist New Connexion Chapel, gabled front with traceried cast-iron window frames, dated 1823 (1). Washed and rendered stone with a Welsh slate roof and brick chimney. T-shaped in plan with a gabled front and a central gabled porch with a door on the left side. Above are two 4-centred arched windows with original small-pane glazing, and tracery to top with central rosette. Similar windows without rosettes and with 4-hinged central panes along either side. Has (had?) later C19 fittings, pine pews and reader's desk (2). Appears to now be a residence (3). It is later marked as a United Methodist Chapel after the union of the New Connexion with the United Methodist free church in 1907 (4).
