Full Description
'Ebenezer Chapel' built in 1836 but demolished and rebuilt in 1913. The new chapel has the tablet from the old chapel reset in the back wall (1).
The 1913 building is listed, as well as a monument in the graveyard (see CSMR: 4434/1/0 and 4434/1/1). Stone dressed red-brown brick building with pebble dashed gables and graded gray slate roof. The church and Sunday school form an L, with the tower and vestry in it's angle. The Church is associated with, and is the burial place for John Wedgwood (see CSMR: 4434/1/0 and 4434/1/1) (2).
The Church is 96m² in plan and the Sunday School is an additional 53m² in plan (3).
