Summary

Unitarian Chapel built c.1700 and altered in 1846 to become primarily a school. Much alteration work was carried out when it was converted into a dwelling in 1985. There is also a graveyard (4428/1/0) that has had it's monument removed.

Unitarian Chapel, built in 1690. Formerly similar to other Unitarian chapels in the county (eg CHER 1496/1/1, 1563/8 & 1241/2), with a gallery on three sides of a long building and pulpit on the fourth side. Now altered out of all recognition

Presbyterian, later Unitarian Chapel built c.1700 and altered in 1846 to become primarily a school. The Chapel is a small square brick building with originally a stone roof, but now blue slate. The South East front has a central doorway with a large porch and two windows with segmentally arched heads. The North West wall has two altered windows that formerly flanked the pulpit, and South West windows were inserted in 1898. The galleries were removed in 1822 and much other alteration work was carried out when it was converted into a dwelling in 1985. There is also a graveyard (CHER 4428/1/0) that has had it's monuments removed.
